During her university years, Ada served as President of the World Student Association and President of the African Students Association, demonstrating early leadership in multicultural advocacy and international student representation. She also completed internships with Constituency for Africa and the National Foundation for Women Legislators in Washington, D.C., where she contributed to trade, health, and international policy initiatives involving African diplomats, lawmakers, and community leaders.

Ada’s professional background includes community grants coordination, higher education planning, mortgage services, entrepreneurship, and event management, giving her broad experience in relationship-building, family advocacy, financial literacy, and community engagement. She is also a graduate of the Halton Regional Police Service Citizen Police Academy, further strengthening her understanding of public safety, community policing, and civic responsibility.

Her leadership in education and parent advocacy continues to be central to her service. Ada currently serves as Co-Chair of the Catholic Parent Involvement Committee (CPIC) for the Halton Catholic District School Board, Co-Chair of St. Francis Xavier Secondary School Council, and former Co-Chair of Lumen Christi Catholic Elementary School Council. She is also the Lead Igbo Language Instructor for the Halton Catholic District School Board International & Indigenous Languages Elementary Program (IILE), where she teaches and preserves Igbo language and culture for the next generation.

Beyond education, Ada serves as Vice President of the Association of Nigerians in Milton (ANCiM) and Chair of its Heritage & Social Committee, where she has led major cultural initiatives, community-building events, and philanthropic efforts, including helping raise over $20,000 for the Milton District Hospital Foundation.

Her leadership also extends internationally and within alumni circles, where she served as Two-Term Past President of FGGC Owerri Alumni Canada Zone and Immediate Past Vice President, Canada Zone. In 2024, she helped lead and organize one of the largest FGGC Owerri Alumni reunions in North America in Toronto, bringing together over 300 women from across the United States, Canada, and around the world.

As founder of Suya Paradise Catering & Events and Paradise Signature Events, Ada has built successful platforms that bring people together through food, culture, and celebration while supporting local economic activity.

A recipient of the Black Excellence Award, Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges, and the Neil MacKinnon Award for Outstanding International Student, Ada remains deeply committed to faith, service, equity, and inclusive leadership.
